Read in the newspaper saying something about we should know when to confront/face a friend without hurting their feelings....gosh, i must say it need courage..and tact....
Called up someone just now to discuss about the "thing"...the person is putting words in my mouth saying i'm accusing someone will walk away from the "thing". But, if she is so cool about it..why not offer to confront her? Why must me?
Funny....
Its either that ..or its me..
its me who is lack of PR skills...lack of people skills....not knowing how to talk to ppl...
or....in another plain, blunt word...i'm ignorant....

I'm BACK!!
Aft disappearing for quite some time...i'm finally back in action.
:) seemed nite had been scribbling much in my absence.
Went for a Cambodia mission trip. Excited, just thinking about it. My first time on the airplane - dizzy with the altitude difference.
Cambodia was great and HOT HOT HOT!! i don't think i can actually complain being hot here at home when the definition of hot seemed to come from there. Sauna..gallons of water don't seemed to hydrate the body enough.
People there are extremely friendly. Thank God that we had a few Cambodian friends that took us around. Imagine in a foreign country where everyone speaks Khmer...limited English..hard.
Met a Scottish girl, came back to Cambodia to meet up with some friends after her mission trip there the year before. Fascinated that she actually learnt up the Khmer language through the internet! Imagine that!
Went to the province to visit the villagers - most children there don't wear any clothes. Defeat the purpose i guess cause the weather there was hot and dusty. Kids running and playing, don't seem to be affected of the heat!
It was fun to laze around on the hammock drinking coconut water after a hard day's work. I finally get to do some real star gazing out in the open field at night. no need to search for the stars out my tiny window.
Great experience and could wait for another trip elsewhere!

Day has not posted anything recently; in fact she is not in the country at the moment…wonder when she will be back…
The ever, most frequent asked question
Question: Is it possible to have a platonic friendship between a guy and a gal?
I have never ever paid much attention to that question, as since ages ago till now, I have no doubt that platonic friendship between different sexes exist…
Then you must be wondering as to why I suddenly prompt the question after all this while…hmm…in fact, to tell the truth, the story behind it is kind of amusing…well, depending on how you see it…
Here it goes…
It all started about 2 weeks ago, I was home and my landlady nicely started asking if I have boyfriends and stuff…and nagged me on getting one, yes, that’s the word …saying that its the appropriate time to do so… after I asked a totally unrelated and innocent question – where can I buy newspaper without taking my bike out.
Imagine all that just for 1 question…hmm…and to think that I’m not even a quarter of the century yet!
Anyway, I thought as long as I avoid my landlady, I would be safe…nevertheless, I was wrong. A week ago (meaning a few days after the initial nag), she knocked on my door, I was not in…so she proposed to my sister that she has this friend that she wanted to introduce to me…hmm…also suggested that I should join them if they are to go to Genting over the weekend…
Well as the week passed, no invitation to Genting, just as I thought the coast is clear, she strikes back. She approached me again yesterday…suggesting of dinner on the coming Saturday…I am thinking, choosing, deciding on the right words to reject her “good” offer. Not that it is all that bad…but her intention of getting me a bf…scares me.
Anyhow, I approached her and let her know that I’m reluctant to attend the dinner.
Landlady : Do you think that the world has lesser and lesser of the masculine gender?
I was a little taken aback by her question but…
Nite : I have a few good male friends…
Landlady : Oh, so you have boyfriends, ah…then I don’t have to worry that you can’t find a boyfriend
Nite : But they are just normal friends
Landlady : There is no such thing as plain, normal friends. That’s the initial stage – initially, friends; then
become girlfriends and boyfriends, later – more serious stage
Nite : Ahem…but some of my friends have girlfriends already, so we are just friends…
Landlady : Then your friends are no good… unfaithful…
Nite : Opps…
I dare not say anything anymore…apparently my landlady does not think that there is such thing in this world that called ‘PLATONIC FRIENDSHIP’
Sorry, guys, if I accidentally caused my landlady to think that you guys are a bad lot
So, conclusion: If you still ask me, is there such thing as plain, sincere, true platonic friendship in this weird, cold, grey world…
After all these, particularly the conversation with my landlady, I would still say, “Yes, I believe there is”…otherwise, where would I have all the amazing, great, normal – just male friends? :)

Don't remember where i read this...there are quite a number of it....some of them i have yet experience...some of it i think its really true...and would like to share it. Do read every phrase and try to think if at any point of time of your life...you had felt so.... :)
I've learned...
that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is be someone who can be loved the rest is up to them.
(I'm not so sure about this..but i guess the first part is right...)
I've learned...
that no matter how much i care some people just dont care back
(its part of life i guess, like the first phrase...thre are things that we just can't control)
I've learned...
that no matter how thin you slice it, there are always two sides
(whatever we do, there is usually at least 2 kind of different consequences...)
I've learned...
that sometimes when i'm angry, i have the right to be angry. But that doesn't give me the right to be cruel.
(this is clear enough)
I've learned...
that just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have
(i'm not so sure about this too..but guess its consoling if everybody thinks this way...hehe...)
I've learned...
that no matter how good a friend is, they are going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.
(after all, friends are human too :) )
I've learned...
that two people can look at at the exact same thing and see something totally different
(there are different perspective of life...that's why you have pessimist and optimist..)
I've learned...
that writing as well as talking can ease emotional pains
(that's why i'm blogging...heheh...that's one of the reasons...to keep me sane)
I've learned...
that its hard to determine where to draw the line between being nice and not hurting people's feeling and standing up to what you believe.
(Yah, people sometimes don't agree with what you believe..)
I've learned...
that just one person saying to me, "You've made my day!" makes my day
(think i'm kind of crazy or silly..but a stranger wishing me good morning can lift up my day :) )
I've learned...
that i can't choose how i feel, but i can choose what i do about it
(as i have written before...)

Here I am typing away in my new place…first night here after delaying on moving…after all…its really hard work…moving from one condo to another…let me describe the process briefly… getting the things out of the condo… then lock the door… press the lift…and move the things from outside the unit to outside the lift…then move it in…then hog the lift for a while… and to minimize hogging the lift…get the things out of the lift…then move it to the car…phew….then the same process when get to the new place. This process takes a few rounds…depending on how many people helping you to move and how valuable are the things as you will have to keep an eye on them. So seriously…I think if the land of Malaysia & $$ permits…do stay in a landed house…unless, of course…1. you love to move and 2. you only move once and never move ever again…: )
Ah… after moving a few rounds…we didn’t move in one shot as yesterday all my housemates went home…so my sister and me happily stayed for another day before moving to the new place. Somehow home alone is fun : ). And its really lucky for me that we stayed! Or I would have missed the clash between Arsenal & Manchester United for the semi-final of FA cup yesterday. Reason? After carrying the TV (invested recently) till I think I strained my back, the reception here is really, extremely bad. Saying that unable to watch anything decent is really the understatement cos we couldn’t watch anything at all... but not giving up yet. And the fact that we don’t have a radio, with the television not able to get anything, guess I would have to rely on the newspaper for any updates. Sigh.
So well, aside from
1. the food stall not in walking distance,
2. the route to work, I assume would be really congested
3. the TV reception is really poor...still trying on channel 9
4. the motorcycle parking lot is not shaded
I can’t complain : )..the place is has got great air, mountain view and after all, it’s a new place…its not even in the street directory yet and yes, life is great when you have new things to explore and experience : )

I once read in an article which said.."make new friends or meet up with old friends at least once a month"... it didn't really stick to my mind..but anyhow, yesterday it was proven true.
Met up with a couple of friends yesterday, i had such a great time since i dont remember when..as i said last month was terrible.
So i guess, April Fool is not so bad....after all :)
